The whole process of finding a publisher has been an enlightening experience. I sent a query to Black Rose Writing, among others. They requested the full manuscript to examine. When they responded a few weeks later and included some of the comments from the reviewer it took me by surprise. The comments were very nice, but it hit me that a stranger had just read my book!

That may sound strange to you. After all, wasn’t that the point of writing a book in the first place? I admit that the surprise only lasted a minute, but the fact that it was there at all caught me off guard. This was indeed why I wrote my book, so people could read it. I just had to come to grips with the fact that people would read it.

That can be a wee bit frightening. So, I’ve decided to just imagine all of you as my friends. And who doesn’t want more friends!
