Power Beyond Us

It started small, with just a whispered breeze and a few raindrops. The sky was still blue; the black would come later.

But the warning sounds from the TV, then our phones, and later the city’s sirens told a different story.  The summer raindrops would not stay simply that – storms, heavy storms, tornado watches, and finally tornado warnings followed in quick succession.

Things both great and terrible can start small before growing beyond our scope to even comprehend. If you think you are in control, think again . . . and no, I’m not talking about the weather anymore.

That may sound daunting, but isn’t it also amazing!
