I don’t know about you, but I love the fictional short stories about kindly deeds. But, as this is Christmas week, I wanted to think about the true accounts of kindly deeds.

Here’s a very simple one. My eight-year-old’s class at school made holiday cards last week, and he decided to make his for an elderly neighbor. There – that’s a story in one sentence. It’s not earth-shattering, but it’s sweet, it’s heart-felt, and it’s real.

What’s your story this year?
