How many (and which) books will you read in 2015?

I was on Goodreads today, and it suggested I set a reading goal. I didn’t. However, it made me stop and think about some of my favorite books – the ones I recommend to friends. (I am just focusing on novels this time around.)

Here’s a short list: (Feel free to add some of your own)

Watership Down by Richard Adams (I read this as a teen and was captivated by it.)

Sister by Rosamund Lupton (A more recent addition.)

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton (A good recommendation from my daughter.)

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (A good recommendation from my son.)

Anything by Agatha Christie (Who wouldn’t list this?)

The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling (why not? I enjoyed reading them with my children.)

Anything by Oscar Wilde (A favorite since childhood.)

Of course, I recommend my book, but that goes without saying. (This is because I write the kind of books I want to read.)

What are some of your favorite novels?
