Today was a definite Monday. It’s not that anything went particularly poorly, it’s just that nothing went particularly well, or more accurately, nothing went the way I had planned! How rude!
As I was walking with my son to check out his new classroom (10 minutes later than I had planned), I was musing on my morning. It hadn’t really been that bad had it? No, but if I could have orchestrated it, it would have come out differently! Too bad my day wasn’t one of my novels – I could script it exactly the way I wanted it to go. I would control it; I would be the master of my fate.
Oh well! Even I know that my heroine has to have bad days to appreciate the good or to help her not become a sniveling, selfish snob. Besides, my day picked up . . . I got some cool marketing materials in the mail!
